The manager created the Word Up at The Apothecary Lounge in Albuquerque. The drink is a variation of the Last Word, modified to accommodate those who think the Last Word is too strong and too spiky!

This recipe simply switches out the potent green Chartreuse and instead uses green creme de menthe, making the cocktail a lot sweeter, with a punch of mint.
