The White Dragon looks like a variation of the Margarita. It has lemon juice instead of lime and egg whites added. However, Jim Meehan (bartending legend) says that the White Dragon is a variation of the classic White Lady. It uses lemon juice instead of lime and adds egg whites, making it an even closer match.

Meehan is the founder of Please Don't Tell, located in New York City; he has also written a couple of books, including PDT Cocktail Book and Meehan's bartender manual. The drink was named partially after Meehan's progenitor and partly after Casa Dragones Blanco Tequila. Meehan was surprised by the strong orange notes of the tequila and wanted to create a drink that would highlight and enhance those flavors even more. Casa Dragone's orange characteristics aside, you can use any Blanco tequila in your arsenal, provided it is of decent quality.
