The Upper Cut cocktail is a drink built with orange liqueur (Cointreau), cachaca, grapefruit juice, lemon juice, and angostura bitters!

Ingredients

  • 45 mLOrange liqueur (Cointreau)
  • 25 mLCachaca
  • 15 mLGrapefruit juice
  • 15 mLLemon juice
  • 1dash of absinthe

How to Make It

  • Add all the ingredients and ice to a shaker!
  • Shake cold.
  • Strain into a cocktail glass.
  • Serve!

The Upper Cut Cocktail Story...

Cointreau, at its 40% ABV, is the star of this cocktail! We almost use double the amount of Cointreau compared to the cachaca. This mix reverses the usual roles of the spirits for a fruit-forward cocktail you usually find where the Cointreau is only a flavor addition, not the main character.
