The Horse's Neck Cocktail Story...

A Horse's Neck dates back to the late 19th-century. It was originally a nonalcoholic ginger ale. Later, a jigger with bourbon, Rye, or brandy was added. This cocktail, which only has two ingredients, is a crowd-pleaser for those who enjoy a more elaborate garnish, the original recipe has a long coiled lemon peel that wraps around the glass, this is also where the name of this drink comes from.

Although it's commonly regarded as a derby drink, the Horse's Neck can be enjoyed in warm weather! In my horse's neck, I usually add a little lemon juice, to make it a fresh punch.
